Madison Marsh, a U.S. pilot, made history by becoming the first serving soldier to be crowned Miss America 2024.
In a fierce competition held in Florida over the weekend, Marsh surpassed 50 other contestants, including first-runner-up Ellie Breaux of Texas.
Marsh said “For me, it’s great because I need to stay physically fit and in the gym for the military, so it already coincides with pageant training“.
