A landslide in southwestern China’s mountainous disaster happened around 5:51 a.m. in Liangshui village, which is part of Tangfang town in Zhenxiong County, southwestern China. The county’s publicity department mentioned that rescue teams are working to find people who are trapped in 18 different houses.
The provincial disaster management authorities have started an urgent response operation. They sent rescuers, along with many fire engines and other equipment, to the affected area.
